Information we collect
- Account details: your name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
- License and order records: products purchased, license status, and order references.
- Technical data: a device identifier for licensing, plus basic logs used for security and reliability.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and secure your account, activate and renew licenses, deliver downloads and receipts, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider, MEPS, on a secure hosted page. We receive confirmation of your order and transaction reference, but we do not collect or store your full card details on our servers.
Your data and backups
The Avantera Business desktop application stores your business data locally on your own computer. If you enable cloud backup, encrypted snapshots are stored under your account so you can restore them. Local data on your machine is managed by you.
Messaging integrations
If you connect WhatsApp Business or Facebook Messenger, we process the integration data and message metadata required to deliver those features, in line with Meta's platform requirements. These integrations depend on your authorization and Meta's availability and approval.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see our Data Deletion page for the process and exceptions.
